She completed her surgical residency at the Dayton VA Medical Center in Ohio.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels. Dr. Arya finds it rewarding to help people meet their goals, whether it’s a beginner starting out on a new athletic journey, a high-level athlete, or a pediatric patient looking to improve performance. Dr. Arya provides in-office surgical procedures, including ingrown toenails, wart treatment, foot and ankle injections, nail and skin biopsies, geriatric care, and much more. She has a special interest in biomechanics/gait, trauma and sports injuries, children’s foot and ankle problems, diabetic health, geriatric care, and general foot care. As an active person and registered Yoga Instructor (RYT-500); Dr. Arya spends her free time playing tennis, pickleball, running, practicing yoga, cheering at sporting events, hiking, and on her Peloton bike. She understands the emotional effects foot and ankle issues can have on her patients, and she prides herself on partnering with them so they can safely and efficiently resume their routine. With her yoga educator background, she often integrates rehabilitation in her treatments, including balance, strength, and flexibility recommendations for patients of all ages.

Dr. Arya loves being part of her community. Currently, she volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul Medical Center, working with a population of Diabetics and patients at high risk for limb or life threatening infections. Dr. Arya is a former coach for Girls on the Run, a nonprofit program that fosters a healthy, active mentality for young females. Dr. Arya also loves to teach. With the work she does teaching students at Creighton University Medical School, she was given the appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor, CS, in the Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine at Creighton University.

Dr. Arya has a sweet spot for animals of all kinds. She is a proud dog mom. After losing a best friend in her 6 year old Retriever Mix named Chai to Lymphoma in 2023, Dr. Arya got a new sweet Bernese Mountain Dog-Poodle Mix named Atma. Atma accompanies Dr. Arya camping, hiking, and walking the canal! Both sweet boys-Chai & Atma are pictured with Dr. Arya below! Dr. Arya looks forward to serving the community and welcomes patients to Arya Foot & Ankle.
